Elfen Hardd was created out of a desire to give my customers the freedom to choose whatever they liked about a piece and make it their own. Until 2014, I had been making jewellery as a hobby, when friends started asking me if I could tweak things to help them make a special personalised gift for a friend. Soon I was investing in letter stamps to personalise silver and copper jewellery, and I loved watching a copper cuff or silver necklace change from something that I had designed into something my customer had changed to their liking.
It quickly became an obsession, and I still apply that passion to every piece I make today.
How the Process Works
I'm trying to keep the experience of shopping with me as easy and pain-free as possible. I've tinkered with forms that can be filled in with character limits, with diagrams showing the size of designs, and everything in between. At the end of it all, it's far too complicated. Now, instead of filling out a million forms to get the item you want, all I ask is that you describe it to me in your own words before checking out.
If there is absolutely anything about your desired design that I don't immediately understand, I'll get in touch with you via email, usually accompanied by a little sketch of what I think you're describing. From there we will reach an agreement of what design you're looking for - how you want your letters placed, spaced, aligned, how many design stamps you want me to use and everything you can think of. Once you're happy that i understand everything you're after, I'll finally head to my bench and get it made for you!
Processing Time can take anywhere from 3 to 10 days, with busier times of year potentially longer. I try to keep an up-to-date processing time visible on site at all times, but if you're worried your item might not make it in time, again, please get in touch. I'm always happy to chat with you.
